"I'm going to purchase a billboard ad of my b**sy just to spite Eliot Glazer."
#GayMen
Comedian and Broad City writer/frequent cameo-maker, Eliot Glazer, posted some controversial opinions about a Los Angeles billboard on Instagram - and it didn't go over too well.
"Dear not-gay-guys of Los Angeles," he began. "When you see a billboard for a gay hookup website called SQUIRT.ORG, please know that ***NOT ALL GAY GUYS*** are cool with this."

"We aren't ALL hunting for 'nonstop hookups' as if our penises will wilt and fall off if we're not in a CONSTANT state of fucking. Believe it or not, sometimes we DO think about things other than fucking! Some of us like crossword puzzles. Ooh, and naps!"
He continued, "There really aren't many outlets or soapboxes that seem appropriate for reminding you that we're not all as one-dimensional as the evil gay grandpas behind this creepy billboard and company. This shit is toxic AF and only makes the rest of us look worse by default, so please stop looking at it, k?"
Gay Twitter was not having it:
You're not being forced to buy what they're selling. If this ad isn't applicable to you why not just keep it movin? A 5 page long caption about how you're not one of "those" gays .... Do less.

imagine being ashamed of gay men who love sex — and a lot of sex — instead of hating the stigma around enjoying sex and physical intimacy

There ARE gay men who are looking for nonstop hookups and that doesn't make them any worse or better than you. Slut-shaming within the gay community is terrible and if you've internalized it, work through that, but don't know throw gay men who enjoy sex under the bus

My crush on Eliot Glazer is taking a battering. First he gets all holier-than-thou about being called a bear and now he’s going full “not all gays” about an app, as if sexual expression and disrupting heteronormative relationship ideals aren’t critical facets of gay liberation. pic.twitter.com/fDzqKgcGGv

I'm going to purchase a billboard ad of my bussy just to spite Eliot Glazer

Can't decide if my fav bit of that Eliot glazer rant is him listing things that actually matter before launching into an unnecessary, judgmental screed nobody asked for or the dramatic fake barfing in text

It'll be a great day when these types get that it's actually ok to like sex, with whomever, whenever (with consent), and that yes, we also like crossword puzzles and shit. Calm the fuck down, dude.

Gross, @eliotglazer thanks for throwing hoes like me under the bus. Sexual liberation is human liberation and the "not all gays" line is totally sex-phobic. Read your queer history. https://t.co/3RtQSthScP

Shaming gay men who do enjoy casual sex to prop yourself up on a pedestal won't put you in straight people's good graces, Mr. Glazer. Your sexual conservatism won't stop Kim Davis from denying your marriage license, or that baker from refusing to bake your wedding cake. Why not celebrate all gay identities to push us all forward rather than throwing the ones you look down on under the bus?
