Chris Evans just revealed what his ultimate dream project is, and we honestly love him even more for it!
Captain America is set to hang up his shield for good after next month's upcoming, Avengers: Endgame, concluding over ten years of Marvel superhero films.
When asked as to his aspirations outside the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), Evans surprised fans and theatergoers alike by telling The Hollywood Reporter, "I want to do a musical so badly," ... "Someone told me they're [remaking] Little Shop of Horrors and I was like, 'Oh, can I be down? Please? Can I be the dentist?"
Broadway Twitter lost their minds:
*sputtering mad* SOMEONE PUT CHRIS EVANS IN A GODDAMN MUSICAL RIGHT NOW, YOU MONSTERS https://t.co/W3dbkvn2vCpic.twitter.com/wNuyh9OoMs

The image of Chris Evans receiving the devasting news that he's too old for West Side Story breaks my heart. He should team up with Channing and Hugh for an original musical!

Evans surprised audiences last year with a remarkable performance in his Broadway-debut as police officer Bill from Tony-nominated Lobby Hero, by Kenneth Lonergan.
"Thank God this acting career worked out," said Evans. "Otherwise I'd just be this forever dork. I probably still am."
