Queen of pop, Britney Spears, definitely knows her target audience.

During one of her Piece of Me concerts in Las Vegas, Spears surprisingly wasn't the center of attention. Two of her backup dancers, Jae Fusz and Mikey Pesante, got hot and heavy on stage during a performance of "Slumber Party" and Fusz blessed us with a tease of the show on his Instagram.

Model/influencer Max Emerson and his boyfriend Andres Camilo posted an adorable Instagram photo on Sunday of themselves recreating a military ball photo. Camilo, a member of the National Guard who wasn't out during his training, just got the second-chance prom shoot little gay boys across the nation would die for.

The couple "came out" in June in one of Max's YouTube videos and celebrated their one-year anniversary just a couple months ago, in January.

And, knowing Max, of course there's a ball photo including the model without any of his clothes, so here's that, as well.

#TV#EntertainmentMen#Guys#LGBT13 Reasons Why We're Obsessed With Tommy DorfmanPRIDE Editor

Everyone seems to be talking about Netflix's latest series 13 Reasons Why (based off of author Jay Asher's 2007 novel of the same name), and for good reason. The emotional show, which follows the events leading up to and the aftermath of a teen girl's tragic suicide, stars a talented cast of young, fresh faces who are sure to take the acting world by storm in the years ahead.

One of those fresh faces is openly gay actor Tommy Dorfman, who plays Ryan Shaver (a queer character) in the series. There are so many cool, fun, and quirky things to love about the young, up-and-coming-actor, but here are a few of our faves!

1. He's besties with one of our fave pop queens Selena Gomez and his 13 Reasons Why costar Alisha Boe.

Today was a magical day. Another day to be grateful to be alive. Alisha, Selena, and I went together to get ; tattoos. The ; symbol stands for an end of one thought and a beginning of another. Instead of a period, authors use the semicolon to continue a sentence. For us, it means a beginning of another chapter in life, in lieu of ending your life. I struggled with addiction and depression issues through high school and early college. I reached out and asked for help. At the time, I thought my life was over, I thought I'd never live past the age of 21. Today I'm grateful to be alive, in this new chapter of life in recovery, standing with my colleagues and friends, making art that helps other people. If you're struggling, if you feel suicidal, I urge you to click the link in my bio. Ask for help. Start a new chapter with the support of others. and RIP Amy Bleul, who started the semicolon movement.

3. ...for Planned Parenthood...

yesterday, i co-organized a 5,000 person rally in support of @plannedparenthood - with zero experience. it's important for everyone to know that they have a voice, that they can organize and rise up without experience. my co-organizers and i didn't even meet until yesterday morning, we worked together over a four day period via email and facebook and phone calls to make it all happen. we truly are stronger together. here's a transcript of my full speech: "I am a queer actor and recent activist. I acknowledge that, because of my cis-passing white male privilege, I haven't suffered discrimination in ways that marginalized groups have. Since this election, my eyes and heart have been exposed to extreme pain and suffering. Raise your hand if you have felt personally victimized by this administration. Same. I, too, have felt personally victimized by our administration, while also acknowledging that others are more at risk. I have never organized a rally before today. This is astonishing. Thank you to everyone for showing up this morning to support Planned Parenthood, who is under attack this very moment nationwide. I stand here today to pledge to keep listening to and learning from you all; to keep fighting for equality for all marginalized groups. For women, people of color, my trans siblings, my gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual siblings. For immigrants, muslims, and refugees. Until we are all seen and heard and treated equally, I pledge to keep fighting and rise up against hate and bigotry. I will fight for organizations that I believe are essential to this movement and human rights. Today is about Planned Parenthood. Today we celebrate them and take action in support of their century long efforts."

Japanese boy band MeseMoa's new music video features the group's nine all-male members making out with each other for four minutes.

Their single, aptly named "Shadow Kiss," is set in a church and shows all of the members in religious garb, dancing and kissing each other. With 36 kisses in total, the video is attracting a lot of attention and has amassed over 300,000 views since it's release, especially among Japanese girls.

RocketNews24 wrote, "Throughout the video, the boys can be seen in a number of poses usually reserved for anime and manga dedicated to "boys’ love," a subgenre of male homosexual romance that’s loved by legions of female fans."

When asked in an interview if anyone in the group was gay, the members of MeseMoa mysteriously replied: "I don't know."

So what's the deal? Is MeseMoa's latest music video a celebration of homosexuality, or just another case of queerbaiting?

Watch the provocative visuals for "Shadow Kiss" in the video below, and decide for yourself.

Being Gay Didn't Hurt Luke Evans' Career Because No One Even Knew He Was Out

#ComingOut#Celebrities#Entertainment#BeautyAndTheBeastMen#Guys#Gayluke-evans-gaston-gay-coming-outRaffy Ermac

In a recent interview with The Jackal Magazine, Welsh Beauty and the Beast star Luke Evans talked a little about how he doesn't think being a gay man has been a roadblock to his continually blossoming acting career.

"Talent, success, what you do in your personal life – I don’t see how one should have an effect on the other," Evans said when asked by the UK publication if the movie business was ready for the idea of a gay action hero. "I don’t think I’d be in this business if I felt that I was not being employed because of who I am in my personal life."

Now, if you're anything like us (and these Twitter users), after reading the interview, you had one big question on your mind: since when has Luke Evans been, in the words of The Jackal interview, "openly gay?"

The answer to that question is kind of complicated. As our friends at Out pointed out, the Gaston actor has been in and out of the closet for years. He started his career in the early 2000's being very candid about his sexuality, and even talked to The Advocate about it in a Q & A after he was cast in the Boy George musical Taboo in 2002. But fast forward to 2011, when the actor started getting more mainstream, big budget roles in projects like Clash of the Titans and Immortals, and suddenly, all traces of being "openly gay" were scrubbed from Evans' Wikipedia page. Combine that with the fact that details of his personal life were kept under lock and key by his publicity team for years, and it's no wonder why so many people don't know the actor was part of the LGBT community.

While we're always happy to have more queer visibility in the entertainment industry (because goodness knows we still really need it), and while it's perfectly within someone's rights to not broadcast their sexuality to the world, it's odd to see Luke Evans talk about how he doesn't think being gay hurt his ability to nab big acting jobs.

Why did he and his team side step the topic of sexuality for so many years then?

Luke Evans may have, on a technicality, been out of the closet for a long time, but has he been the visible queer figure that the community at large could use? Definitely not.

BuzzFeed sat down with eight gay men who shared their awkward and uncomfortable coming out stories.

They asked the group of 20-somethings about their coming out experiences, some chuckle-worthy and some tear-jerking. Questions like "Did anyone ever discover anything 'gay' of yours before you came out?" produced hysterical results, while questions like "What were you afraid of before coming out?" were incredibly relatable and moving.

An especially poignant moment on National Day of Silence, BuzzFeed asked: "What is it like to keep such a big secret for so long?"

The wide range of touching (and sometimes hilarious) answers from the guys underscores the variety of ways gay men navigate the world, and how far our society has to go so coming out can be a thing of the past.

Even in Drag, Porn Star Tayte Hanson Wants to Be Nothing Less Than the Best

“I have two giant black things headed towards my face,” Misscarriage, the Aussie drag queen played by artist Tayte Hanson, said into the mic as both Brita Filter and Terra Hymen offered him their microphones during the Q&A at Friday night’s Lady Liberty drag competition in New York City. “This has happened to me before! Go watch that video online; plugs for days.” Flashing a winning smile, she adjusted her legs, which had become the subject of Brita Filter’s fixation earlier in the night, in her seat and plunged into answering her question.

It was a small moment but a telling one. The ability to react on the fly, insert a sly, off-color remark, and make it all a performance, is a hallmark of drag — good drag, that is. And Hanson wants to be the best. “I’m super competitive,” Hanson told PRIDE a few hours before the competition as she was painting on the night’s look. “I crave a dopamine rush. When I start something, I will give it 400 percent because I want to be the best. And then when I’m the best, I’m over it.” And with a résumé that includes a pretty glowing (and ongoing) career as a porn star, a professional dancer, a chef, and a photographer, drag is only the latest chapter.

tayte-hanson-1

Hanson is made to adapt. That’s clear when the 27-year-old starts to describe his drag character, Misscarriage, and drops into a strong Australian accent, likely by accident, cultivated through years of working with the Melbourne-based dance company Strange Fruit. It’s clear again as he gets ready for his sets, tweaking and changing looks, accommodating for plans gone awry and time constraints in seconds. Even his physicality makes it clear, as he had dropped about 20 pounds in two weeks for an upcoming dance gig, leading into the Lady Liberty competition. But it’s all a product of quite a wide expanse of knowledge.

Born in Roswell, N.M., Hanson graduated college with three degrees. “I actually had to sneak and do it,” he said, stopping his makeup application to look at me. It makes you feel engaged to have someone pause to look at you almost every time they speak. “They don’t like when you dual enroll.” But he did it.

tayte-hanson-2

Currently based in New York City, Hanson dual enrolled in college. (Photo by Tayte Hanson)

Hanson still leans on those degrees in architecture, dance, and culinary arts, as he has ever since earning them. When he first got to New York, he used his culinary arts degree to teach in order to make money. He still uses it today to cook for himself and boyfriends. His dance degree has been important, as he has danced in companies all over the world. At one point he even helped choreograph a concert on Madonna's Rebel Heart tour. The architecture degree is getting more and more use now, since as of a year ago, Hanson began to pursue a career as a photographer, something the architecture knowledge informs.

“It became something that I liked that paid money,” Hanson said of how his photography came about. “I think that’s how success is created — finding something you enjoy and then turning that into something that makes money.” That photography money comes in from a variety of sources, including fashion imagery and portraits. While the full scope of that is viewable on Hanson’s website, the most salacious and gay-themed photos usually find their way onto his Instagram and are usually among his favorites.

tayte-hanson-3

A shot from Hanson’s intimate photo series Anonymous 52. (Photo by Tayte Hanson)

“Intimate portraiture is what I like to shoot,” he admitted. “Anonymous 52 is a new series I’m doing. Shooting, as a fly on the wall, couples' most intimate moments.” That series is the continuation and a product of photography that Hanson had been pursuing for a while. He has shot his own intimate moments in a series that includes shots with his own lovers in an unreleased gallery that he said was about the essence of those moments.

“I don’t know if those ever will come out,” he said. “There’s something in the back of my head that wants to keep them private and intimate for myself but there’s another part of me that’s so open with the world that I feel it’s a necessity to release.” But for now he’s focusing on drag.

tayte-hanson-4

A shot from Hanson’s intimate photo series Anonymous 52. (Photo by Tayte Hanson)

“The porn side is basically the same as the drag side, but instead of putting your dick in someone else's ass and perform, you put your own dick in your ass,” Hanson laughed, referring to a drag queen’s tuck. His porn career, which started as a CockyBoy exclusive, has seen him use the platform he’s garnered from films to advocate for safe sex. But his drag focuses on creating an entirely different persona.

“The reason that I use prosthetics in my drag is because I’m not trying to impersonate a woman,” Hanson said. For the Lady Liberty competition Friday, the prosthetic of choice was a pig snout, worn throughout the night. “I just want to be a different version of whatever it is I’m trying to express, not necessarily a woman.”

tayte-hanson-6

Misscarriage performing for the talent portion of the Lady Liberty drag competition. (Photo by WilsonModels)

The snout got its creative due during the talent portion of the competition when Misscarriage performed to Lady Gaga’s track “Swine.” Pulling a friend onto stage, Misscarriage filled his mouth with an apple, laid him down onto his back, poured vegetables all over his shirtless body, and ate it off. The only thing to top it? Sitting on his face for the segment’s end.

It was a standout moment for the night, making Misscarriage a shoo-in for the top two. But with that position cinched, it was during the final lip-synch competition that things took a turn.

Competing against Sullivan, a local look queen, Misscarriage brought the crowd to their feet when she stepped out of a negligee revealing a bedazzled thong and lingerie set. Ass out, she flew up and down the middle aisle, playing to the crowd. Sullivan was largely forgotten. But in the last minute of the lip-synch, Egypt, a competitor who hadn't made it into the final two, took to the stage in an attempt to usurp the spotlight. The crowd was riotous.

tayte-hanson-7

Drag queen Egypt attempts a mid-performance coup of Misscarriage’s spotlight. Opponent Sullivan walks away in the background. (Photo by WilsonModels)

Not to be outdone, center stage, Misscarriage grabbed Egypt’s waist, trying to lift her. The struggle between the two was almost imperceptible, and then Missccarriage rolled into a backflip, disengaging from the failed attempt with as much showmanship possible. Adapting. Hanson’s words were easy to remember.

"I have to win."

And that she did.

Gay vloggers James and John took to their YouTube channel, A Brit And A Yank, to release a short video that answers one burning question: instead of the movie industry's most iconic and romantic scenes featuring straight couples, what would they be like if they starred gay men?

While their spoofs of films like Love Actually, Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Romeo + Juliet, and Say Anything, were obviously meant to be hilarious (and they are!), they also made us painfully aware of how few big, mainstream movies there are that positively portray queer love and romance. *sigh*

Stanley told Attitude Magazine that he met his fiancé seven years ago on SilverDaddies.com, a site for "mature men and other men (both daddies and younger), who are interested in keeping their daddy happy and/or sexually satisfied." Since meeting, the couple hid their relationship from the world by claiming to be related.

"After being a part of each others lives for almost 7 years," Stanley wrote on Instagram, "@lorenzo_uk has been my pretend godfather, uncle, cousin and many others in order to make sure no one found out about us and that we were a couple funny looking back after having come so far together. The most loving man I know and I’m incredibly happy to say we’re now engaged."

Facing the criticism around the couple's age gap, Stanley explained to Attitude"I’m sure as everyone knows, you’re not doing anything right if you’re not getting criticised in this world. Laurence & I love each other and to us that’s all that matters. We’re proud to represent the many relationships like ours."

The couple is planning on moving to Sicily later this month for Laurence's job, and Sam is looking forward to learning Italian, exploring new projects outside of rugby, and eventually having children of their own.

Keiynan Lonsdale

Keiynan Lonsdale, who plays Wally West on CW's The Flash, came out as bisexual in a tender Instagram post on Saturday.

I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, & I like guys (yes), I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am and I really like who I'm becoming. Spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different.. which is just untrue. A couple years ago I was able to accept myself, & it saved my life, but now I've gotten to a new road block & I feel kind of lost. I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. Not faking shit anymore, not apologising for falling in love with people no matter their gender. I've become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared... no one should feel like that about themselves, especially when there is so much good life to live. Ya know more & more I see so many young people being their best / truest selves, it's fucking inspiring... so what have I been waiting for!? Who knows. Everyone in their own time. I hope we can all learn to embrace who we are & not judge people who aren't exactly the same as us. The truth is we are all family, we're all one. Just love. Keiy.

"I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, & I like guys" the Australian actor explained. "I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. Not faking shit anymore, not apologising for falling in love with people no matter their gender."

The post has received over 76,000 likes and Lonsdale has received overwhelming support from fans across the world.

Alia Shawkat

Alia Shawkat spoke to Out Magazine this weekend about her new thriller, Paint It Black, in which her character develops feelings for her boyfriend's mom after he commits suicide. The Arrested Development star came out so casually in the interview, you might've missed it if you blinked.

"How do you identify with these [queer] characters [you've played]?"Out asked Shawkat. She replied, "I was a tomboy growing up, and I remember my mom asking me when I was 10, 'Are you attracted to boys or girls?' I said I don’t know. Now I consider myself bisexual, and I think balancing my male and female energies has been a big part of me growing as an actor."

Shawkat is excited to take on the world as an out queer artist. "I used to be less outspoken," she explained. "But as a woman, an Arab-American, and a member of the LGBTQ community, I have to use whatever voice I have. There’s no more delicacy in being quiet."

Harry Styles

In an interview with The Sun, Harry Styles was asked for his take on Miley Cyrus' openness on her pansexuality. “Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive.
