Adorableness ensues!

#Family#GayMen#Guys#Viralgay-men-interview-their-moms.jpgBrendan Haley

These gay boys are spilling some adorable (and heartfelt) tea with their moms!

In a nine-minute long YouTube video hosted by Matthew J. Dempsey entitled "Mama Said," a group of gay men talk to their moms about their experiences growing up queer and give viewers a heartwarming look at the bond built between mother and son.

"Our moms gave us license to set down the pretense of how a "real boy" was supposed to be and allowed us to just be ourselves,"  Dempsey said about the concept for this interview.

Check it out and see what they had to say!

Hairspray Live and King Cobra star Garrett Clayton has officially come out in a moving Instagram post.

The 27-year-old actor opened up about his same-sex relationship and his upcoming role in Reach, in which he plays a bullied gay teen:

"With the release of my new movie REACH coming up, I thought it was important to explain why I took on this project in the first place. REACH deals with some very serious and timely topics that have affected me personally, and have likely influenced many of your lives as well. (I also prefer to share things that are particularly important for me here on my IG) instead of in some random magazine or online article - because you are the ones that have been rooting for me and following me on my professional and personal journey in life.

When I read the script for REACH, I immediately knew it was a film I had to be a part of. I have personally dealt with suicide within my own family, intense bullying in high school, and - on top of it all - myself and the man I’ve been in a relationship with for a long time (@hrhblakeknight) have both experienced shootings within our hometown school systems, and have witnessed the heartache that takes place in affected communities after such tragic events. These topics - not always easy to discuss- are all close to my heart, and, knowing how serious they are, I wanted to share this with you all. This film has come from the perspectives of people who care deeply about these issues, and if watching it helps even one person... then it was all worth it."

If that wasn't enough for you, a commenter asked Clayton, "Dude, are you gay or something???" and Clayton clapped back with, "well I did just @ 'the man I've been in a relationship with.'"

Congrats Garrett!

"Hope everyone likes Dad jokes!"

#Entertainment#Comics#Books#VideoGamesMen#Guys#Gaydream-daddy-strip.jpgTaylor Henderson

Last summer, gamers clamored over Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator, a video game that invites players to assume the role of a single Dad new to the town of Maple Bay who's looking for some romance with the other hot Dads around town.

Now you can take that fantasy even farther with a freshly announced comic book series by Oni Press.

dream-daddy-anka-issue-1-preview-paste-magazine

Co-creators of the game Vernon Shaw and Leighton Grab are excited to add the comics to the Dream Daddy fantasy world, reports Paste Magazine. "There are so many more stories we wanted to explore in the DDADDS universe,” Shaw said in a statement. “And Oni is giving us this amazing new outlet to tell them. Hope everyone likes Dad jokes!”

“It’s always been a dream of mine to work on a comic book series,” agreed Gray. “I couldn’t be happier that we got to make all these cool new Dad stories with such cool people!”

The first look at Issue #1 leans into the signature Dream Daddy sexual tension. Two dads go to their college reunion and lingering feelings pop back up to surface. And we get a shirtless shot on page 3!

Print and digital issues are now available for purchase here. Check out Paste's first look at the Issue #1 below:

*PLEASE READ* Coincidentally, today is world suicide prevention day. However, I was going to share this regardless. So...I'm gay. Many of you may have already known that. I don't expect everyone to understand or accept me. But please be gracious enough to not push your beliefs on me or anyone in the LGBTQ community. My hope is this post will inspire each and every one of you to be more empathetic and loving towards one another. I've been back and forth for a while about opening up about my sexuality. I thought that I didn't need to come out because it doesn't matter if anyone knows. But I remember how much other's stories have helped me in my darkest times to have hope. I spent way too long pretending, hiding, and hating who I was. I was always afraid of what others would think/say. I've struggled with my mental health for many years because of that and it put me in a really bad place. Now I'm standing up for myself and the rest of the LGBTQ community in hopes of being an inspiration and making a difference in someone's life. Although it's a lot more accepted in our society today, we still see children, teens, and adults being ridiculed and discriminated against for being the way we are. Some have even taken their lives because of it. As long as those things are still happening, I will continue to do my best to bring more awareness to this issue and to fight for equality. Whether the LGBTQ is what you support or not, we must liberate and encourage each other to be our best selves, whatever that may be. It's the only way we can make this world a better place for future generations. I don't want this to be focused on me. I just want to spread love and acceptance to others who are in a similar situation. If anyone out there is struggling, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. YOU ARE LOVED AND YOU ARE ENOUGH...AS IS, EXACTLY AS YOU ARE! I can't wait for the day we all can live without feeling like we're different and excluded. A time where we don't have to come out, we can love the way we want to love and not be ashamed. We are all human and equal after all. So I dare you...spread love. Let's do our part to make this world a better place.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them star Ezra Miller is doing a press tour for the upcoming sequel, The Crimes of Grindelwald, which means we get a fresh round of photos and videos of our charming, notoriously private, Instagram-less indie queer boy fave.

In one of his latest videos to go viral, Ezra shows off a glass-piercing jawline and eyes of honey we want to dive into, all while inviting us to call him "lil baby" and "sweet bitch."

We don't have much else to say on the subject. We just like the video.

Love you, "sweet bitch!"

"Why is it deemed wrong to not wear clothes?"

Love, Simon star Keiynan Lonsdale has something to say about body positivity.

Yesterday evening, the Australian actor and musician posted a naked selfie on Instagram questioning why we as a society need clothes to feel secure.

"Dance naked, lose followers, gain leaders," he began. "P.s. why is it deemed wrong to not wear clothes? We’ve been taught poorly, & groomed to hold shame for ourselves, our human bodies. No matter what we look like, each of us is made to feel incorrect inside our own physical form, told that in order to survive & be a functioning, liked, & well respected person in society, we should hide this form from the world. That shit sounds whack to me. Now, I’m not at all at the confidence level to be neked in public lol, maybe one day i hope, but I’m sure as hell working on sharing & showing off my body to myself.. and it feels good."

Big Dipper—the self-proclaimed big boy of rap—is back and blessing our ears with yet another bop, this time in the form of "Thiccness," a fun, sensual track that celebrates the sexiness of bigger men.

"I like thicc guys so I wanted to make a song about being horny and on the hunt for a hot beefy dude," Big Dipper told PRIDE in a statement about the song. "It's that simple really."

And the track's energy translates very well into the recently released music video!

"The video for "Thiccness" shows the sexualization of bigger bodies that never happens in mainstream media," Big Dipper said about the video. "All the shots are like sIow and sensual and I wanted to feature confident guys who know they are sexy. There is an "everyman" quality to the narrative of the visual....like there is thiccness everywhere you look in the world and it can apply to lots of different sizes and lots of different people."

He continued:

"The song is so good that I wanted to do a video, but I was so tapped out from all the other singles and the album that I knew this video had to be super low budget and just about featuring all the guys. I reached out to some IRL friends, some guys on instagram, and I even used a hook up app to snag the daddies at the end of the video. We shot the video on 3 different nights and did it all really guerrilla style with no permits or permission and no lights or crew," he said about making the video."

"I usually hate making videos in this way, but there wasn't really another option because of time and money. I much prefer to really sit with an idea and produce the hell out of every detail and make videos on a larger scale. But I'm actually totally obsessed with this video. I LOVE how it all turned out and the vibe is so spot on for the song. All the guys featured in the video are so charming and they really fit perfectly with the song."

"The video for "Thiccness" is sexy, fun, and a total vibe," Big Dipper said. "I'm obsessed....you should be too!"

Crowdfunding for Another Hilarious Season of 'Matt & Dan' Has Begun!

Matt & Dan fans can help make another funny AF season of the web series become a reality!

After a successful first season, the hilarious AF, skit-based queer web series Matt & Dan (the brainchild of actors and friends Matt Wilkas and Daniel Vincent Gordh) is set to return for a brand new, 8-episode season! And to really kick things off, an incentive-packed crowdfunding campaign just launched today so that fans and supporters can help make Matt & Dan season 2 a reality!

PRIDE caught up with Gordh to talk about what's in store for Matt & Dan, the success of the first season, and why it's important for him to get fans involved in the process of creating the show!

matt-and-dan-season-2-crowdfunding-lgbt-gay-web-series-2

PRIDE: What’s new for Matt & Dan? And what can fans expect to see this upcoming season?

Daniel Gordh: As soon as we Matt and I finished out the first season, we immediately dove back into writing. The thing that we both really wanted to do was expand our world, so with Matt and Dan season two, fans can not only expect more episodes, but also a whole lot of variety, bonus videos, lots of new and upsetting characters, and guest stars galore!

What has the feedback from fans been like?

We had such an incredible reaction to our first season. Matt and I both know it can be really hard to get people to see or engage with a new show, especially when you don’t have built-in viewership from being on a network or VOD service. But with only 6 full episodes our first season, we were able to get an incredible group of fans who stayed engaged throughout the entire season. As soon as we completed our first season, Matt and I both knew that we had to make another season of this show.

matt-and-dan-season-2-crowdfunding-lgbt-gay-web-series-1

matt-and-dan-season-2-crowdfunding-lgbt-gay-web-series-4

What was it like screening the first season of Matt & Dan at all these cool, queer film festivals all over the country and the world?

It’s been kind of crazy actually! It all started with the incredible Frameline Film Festival in San Fransisco (on my birthday!), which was an absolutely amazing experience for us. And then they all started pouring in somehow! We’ve gotten into festivals all over the world, from New Mexico, to Barcelona, to Australia, to Germany. It’s truly incredibly gratifying for us to share our work with that kind of audience, because less than a year ago we were shooting them with whatever was left in our bank accounts.

Crowdfunding helps fans and supporters feel like they are part of the creation of their fave shows. Why was it important for you all to let the fans get involved?

I come from a proud tradition of shows fueled by fans. For those who know The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, that show was such an incredible lesson for me about engaging fans to help create your work. That show would not have existed if it weren’t for the incredible fans who helped make it what it was. The first season of Matt & Dan we were really dedicated to making our show as high-quality as we possibly could, even if we had to do it for nothing, despite having no guarantee anyone would watch it or even care—just because we had a vision we wanted to share with others. Afterwards we knew that we needed to give those new fans the opportunity to be our collaborators in creating more.

matt-and-dan-season-2-crowdfunding-lgbt-gay-web-series-3

Why was it important for you all to use Seed & Spark, a platform that is know for helping diverse filmmakers, to crowdfund?

I am lucky enough to know Emily Best, the CEO of Seed & Spark, personally, and she is such a force of nature and just so incredibly passionate about helping foster diversity in the entertainment industry. Not only that, but Seed & Spark is also focused specifically on filmmakers, and provides incredible support to their filmmakers. We knew we wanted to work with a company who shared the same mission as us.

The Matt & Dan season two Seed & Spark campaign is now live! Contribute to it here!

Watch a hilarious commercial for the crowdfunding campaign (co-starring Abra Moore, Drew Droege, and Gus Kenworthy) in the video below! Catch up on Matt & Dan season one on the official YouTube channel, and make sure to follow the two of them on Instagram, @mwilkas and @manboynice!
